Absolutely loved the beginners course! The organization vibrates such a positive community feeling, organizing many events so you can bring your salsa moves in practice. Een geweldige dansschool! Goede docenten, fijne medestudenten en leuke socials. De lessen zijn heel gestructureerd waardoor je nieuwe dingen leert en up-to-date blijft. Door Salsa te Gusta heb ik meer zelfvertrouwen gekregen in het dansen. Ik heb bij meerdere scholen gedanst en zou Salsa te Gusta aan iedereen aanraden!

Roadmap study program

Introduction

TRY-OUT
CLASS

  • 1 STG CREDIT

Students are introduced to dancing salsa during this fun and easy to understand class for beginners. Learn steps and get familiar with our school.

Phase 1

SIX FOUNDATION
COURSES

  • 72 STG CREDITS

Students firstly develop fundamental skills to become skilled dancers. Secondly, specific educational theme’s and unique practical exercises are incrementally added to the classes in order to become a better dancer and perhaps a salsa teacher.

Phase 2

PRE-TEACHER
TRAINING

  • 20 STG CREDITS

Our Pre-teacher training is an 8-week in-depth course designed to enable you to share your passion with friends and get a better understanding as a dancer in general. If completed you’d be able to teach try-out classes for STG.

Phase 3

ADVANCED
TEACHER
TRAINING

  • 72 STG CREDITS

The Advanced Teacher Training Program is an intensive in-depth specialised part of our curriculum, designed to empower you to explain figures, recognise common mistakes, and lead Rueda de Casino.

Final Phase

CERTIFIED
TEACHER

Many finished our complete teacher training program and started teaching at both STG or other schools. Some opened their own! We love to see people dance, and inspire dancers to become teachers who can share their passion.

About our Salsa Academy

When you choose our salsa academy, you develop the necessary skills to become an amazing Cuban Salsa dancer, while learning to share your passion by teaching others how to dance.

All courses offered are thus part of a full vocational educational program.
It is required to finish every phase in order to proceed to the next phase.
(Exemption is possible based on similar experience.)

To gain a comprehensive understanding of all course levels and the full curriculum, we encourage you to download our detailed study guide.
